Tonight will feature three comedians, each doing a 30minute set. These evenings will be compered by John Mann whoes sharp observation and wry wit mingled effortlessly with a gentle and confident rapport ensure that he is unfailingly funny.



Stephen Carlin is very enigmatic, using a unique pattern of delivery to amuse the audience with very unexpected and off the wall references.



Diane Morgan - Her stand-up on TV and radio includes; ' Out to Lunch' for radio 4 and 'World stands Up' for Paramount Comedy.

Songs From The Blue House have a varied line up depending on the gig, but their music remains consistant - always catchy, enjoyable and full of energy. Their style is bluegrassy, sort of folky, a bit country but still nodding to pop and even punk at times. Tonight sees their eagerly awaited return to High Barn. Paul Mosely is one half of Moses, the indie folk band that could. Their debut single 'No-one's Home' was playlisted by BBC radio 2 and the parent album; 'The Swimming Zoo' was voted into 6musics albums of the year. Their legendary live shows (in turn heart stoppingly beautiful, full-on up lifting and vaguely filthy) won them tours with Sam Brown, Shane MacGowan, Martin Stephenson (to name a few) and have seen them winning over crowds at Glastonbury festival.

Penni is a well respected singer songwriter who refuses to be constrained by musical style. She writes from the heart and in doing so has won the hearts of many. Penni has performed both solo and with duos and groups all over Europe and has won numerous song writing competitions. She has worked for radio and has run workshops on performance and song writing. Many of her superb songs have been recorded by other artists – the ultimate accolade.

Penni will be joined onstage in this performance (which is being recorded for a live album release) by multi-instrumentalist Bryan Causton, founder member of folk rock Legends “Shave the Monkey” and present day member of the widely acclaimed Strangeworld.

This evening's performance will be recorded for a live album.

Big 10 are renowned for their lively performances and stomping gigs with a party atmosphere. With a tight rhythm section, up to three singers and a dynamic two to four piece brass section, Big 10 are definitely one of the most exciting live acts in the local area.

The Blue Bishops work at the rocky end of the R+B and Blues spectrum. Yet, at the same time, they are acknowledged for the sensitivity and dynamics of performances that can go from a whisper to a roar in just a few moments.Their last studio CD, ‘Deep’, just like the band itself, has made an impression across the genre.
