World renowned, international Flamenco guitarist Ignacio Lozano, is a phenomenally talented guitarist, performing breathtakingly, beautiful authentic compositions that are truly compelling and mesmerising.

As well as Ignacio, there will be professional male Flamenco dancer, Jairo Barrull (world award winning flamenco dancer!), with lightning-fast footwork, Jairo performs the spring-loaded, strong, defiant, explosive, masculine character of the Flamenco dance to the extreme!

Enjoy the fabulous atmosphere and acoustics of High Barn absolutely free of charge. Bring your own instrument and join in this evening's acoustic sessions, all abilities welcome and feel free to play what ever acoustic genre of music you're into! Alternatively, just come and listen to the sessions. Although the evening begins at 8.30pm (doors at 7.30pm) feel free to come along at whatever time you wish. Gadjo takes you on a wild journey from the middle of a jumping ska-mosh pit into the brassy arms of a drunken fanfare. After waltzing a chanson francaise under an African sky, you'll tumble giggling into mediterranean streets for a bit of salty swing.Then, bewitched by love songs, you'll dance yourself dizzy at an all night Balkan wedding party.

From all corners of the world they tumbled into the streets of Barcelona in 2003 and have been together ever since, writing their original blend of polyglot balkan-ska-swing music. Since then, Gadjo has produced three albums, attracted a huge international following and has toured Europe extensively playing in theatre, circus and music festivals; up trees, on barges, in bars, beaches, on horsecarts, on top of trucks, in clubs and castles.

Having taught himself to play in the isolation of rural Australia, Geoff has developed a blues/funk style all his own that can be delicate one moment and explosive the next. Unaware of how the sounds he was hearing on his limited record collection were produced, he invented some of his own techniques - without the aid of pedals or gadgets. At times, just watching him wrench sounds from his simple set-up can be a show in itself.

Rubylux are back at High Barn! They have already wowed audiences at our Unplugged nights, including last year’s Christmas special and are now returning with a whole album of new material. As dedicated songwriters, they value a pop hook, strong melody and big chorus. Songs have been used on TV shows including 'Neighbours' and the US drama, ‘Heroes’.

As the star soloist in the late Humphrey Lyttelton's Band, Karen gained an International reputation on both the tenor and baritone saxophones. She tours throughout the UK and Europe with her own bands and now has three CDs to her name, the latest of which is called "Brandy & Beer".
