Musiczine presents:
Strangerhood &
Ed Hope and Friends
Friday 17th July
£10.00
“The Strangerhood are a band it’s impossible to pigeon hole. Taking their influences from the likes of Tom Waits to Metallica, Bjork to Elbow, they mash up trippy electronics, rock outs, pick-you-ups and delicate acoustics, and manage to somehow make the finished noise sound rather splendid.”
- Stortford Music Festival
www.myspace.com/strangerhoodmusic
Hailing from Cambridge, Ed Hope & Friends perform songs about things such as love at the funfair, summer time in the woodlands and of course, rock and roll. The music has gone on to feature in several independent films. This show is part of their summer tour to promote their 2nd studio release, an EP recorded in a log cabin on the side of a Norwegian mountain in early 2009.

Gilad Atzmon, the Israeli saxophonist/clarinetist, combines thrilling jazz musicianship with a maverick intelligence. The individuality of the music is extraordinary.
